The service

Meat Alert is a subscription SMS service that texts curated meat and seafood grocery deals for metro markets. Subscribers pay through Stripe. SMS marketing and informational consents are optional, separate, and unchecked by default on our website — neither is required to purchase. Subscribers can stop texts anytime by replying STOP.

Meat Alert sends recurring automated marketing SMS to subscribers who opt in for curated local grocery meat/seafood deal alerts (retailer, cut, price, and timing). Message frequency varies; typically a few texts per week when deals clear our threshold. Consumers may optionally opt in to a separate informational SMS channel for account notices (welcome confirmation, billing/payment updates, waitlist/launch notices) via a second unchecked checkbox. Neither SMS checkbox is required to complete waitlist signup or paid Stripe Checkout. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support. Msg&data rates may apply.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices shown on the website are the subscription fees for Meat Alert. You can manage billing through the Stripe customer portal links we provide, or by contacting support@meatalert.com.

SMS consent & messaging

SMS messaging consent is optional and separate from your subscription purchase. You may complete waitlist signup or Stripe Checkout without enabling texts. If you want SMS, you may check one or both optional, unchecked boxes: (1) marketing texts about meat deals, and/or (2) informational texts about your account (welcome, billing/payment, waitlist notices). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel texts, HELP for help, or email support@meatalert.com. Stopping texts may not cancel your paid subscription by itself; use billing self-serve or contact support to manage renewal.

Deal information

Alerts are curated and human-reviewed, but prices, availability, and store details can change. Meat Alert does not guarantee any retailer will honor a posted deal. Always confirm in-store or on the retailer's site.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to abuse messaging or billing systems, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
